The Immigration Section of the Australian Embassy, Madrid, is seeking to fill a newly created position of Assistant Manager.
The duties of the Assistant Manager are varied but will include financial management responsibilities, integrity analysis and more complex visa work.
This is a locally engaged position. Conditions of employment are set by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. No relocation costs or cost of living allowances are payable to successful applicants. Successful applicants living outside Spain will be responsible for travel to, accommodation and obtaining working visas for Spain. The Australian Embassy in Madrid is unable to assist in this regard.
In considering this position, applicants should also make themselves aware of the Australian taxation arrangements for Australian Citizens working overseas.
The monthly salary for the Assistant Manager will be approximately EUR 2,695 gross per month (14 payments annually).
