Australia and Spain sign Work and Holiday visa arrangement

The reciprocal Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa arrangement between Australia and Spain came into effect on 23 November 2014. This visa enables Spaniards and Australians aged 18–30 years to travel to each other's country for one year and undertake short-term work and study. There will be 500 places available for each country per programme year. Eligible young adults from Spain and Australia can now apply for this visa.

Information for Spaniards wishing to apply for the visa can be found on the Department of Immigration and Border Protection website (www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/462.aspx). As you will see from this link, applications must be made in writing to the Australian Immigration Office in Berlin.
